Creamy White Chicken Recipe
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream (or coconut milk for a tropical twist)
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp dried thyme or oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then sear for 4-5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, add butter, garlic, and onion. Sauté until fragrant.
Pour in chicken broth and scrape up browned bits. Stir in heavy cream.
Add Parmesan cheese and herbs, then simmer until the sauce thickens.
Return chicken to the skillet, coating it with the creamy sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Serve hot with a side of rice, pasta, or steamed vegetables. Enjoy!
