Ingredients
For the Meatloaf:
- 2 pounds (900g) ground beef (80/20 blend preferred)
- 1 cup (240ml) breadcrumbs (regular or panko)
- 1/2 cup (120ml) whole milk
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 medium red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 cup (100g) shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
For the Topping:
- 1/2 cup (120ml) ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
For the Cheese Filling:
- 1 cup (100g) shredded provolone or American cheese
- 1/2 cup (120g) cream cheese, softened
