Seafood Salad

Ingredients

For the Salad:

  • 1 pound (450g) cooked shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 pound (225g) cooked crab meat (lump or imitation)
  • 1/2 pound (225g) cooked scallops or calamari (optional)
  • 1 cup (150g) celery, finely diced
  • 1/2 cup (75g) red bell pepper, finely diced
  • 1/4 cup (35g) red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 cup (120g) cherry tomatoes, halved (optional)
  • Mixed greens or lettuce leaves (for serving, optional)

For the Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup (120ml) mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (or your preferred seafood seasoning)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • A dash of hot sauce (optional)
